Felted Wool Bags

Anyone who knows me will tell you I am not a purse kind of girl. So why do I make them, you may ask? Well I'll tell you.

I have a compulsion to be always doing something with my hands. Knitting was the perfect hobby for me. I could do it anywhere and anytime. I could do it while watching a movie or helping my kids with their homework. I got tired of knitting scarves all the time. I figured I should try something new, so I made my first bag. I made it just large enough to hold my essentials, wallet, keys. checkbook and cell. Right away I loved the soft warm wool against my shoulder. I actually liked having this purse. When my daughter was sleepy in the grocery cart, it made the perfect pillow. It has become part of me. I like to call my wool bags security blankets for women.
